The National Geographic LIVE! Speaker Series had become a stable event at the Esplanade after first coming on the scene in 2014. In 22 January 2017, the series continues its upcoming edition titled Wild Seas, Secret Shores with Marine Biologist-turned-National Geographic Photographer, Thomas Peschak.

Known for his work in conservation photojournalism, Thomas uses engaging and memorable photographs of the ocean's charismatic creature to nurture a connection between the audience and the largest ecosystems on Earth.

Thomas also hopes that his own extraordinary stories of underwater adventures will motivate people to act positively regarding the world's most important conservation issue - the increasing threats of our oceans, Earth's largest life support systems.

National Geographic has been on the forefront of creating compelling content that inspires people to care about the planet, going beyond print and television and reaching out to the masses through our Live! Shows. We aim to continue to pique the curiosity of our audiences in Singapore by bringing them closer to the wonders of the world with the stories of exploration and discovery from our team of National Geographic Explorers and Photographers in this series of LIVE! events
