Go beyond Thailand’s beaches. Wild Thailand reveals a sacred kingdom of awe-inspiring beauty.

This series travels from the familiar paradise beaches of the south to the unspoilt cloud forests of the north. It takes in the towering limestone cliffs, the paddy fields, the jungle, the hidden temples and the teeming city of Bangkok, before visiting the tumbling waterfalls, forests and mountains of the north.

Each episode is packed with wildlife. While full moon parties get underway on the island of Ko Pha-Ngan, the series visits the dazzling light show below the water on the island’s reefs. In Bangkok, we meet the animals that have made this urban environment their home. A visit to the north is like stepping back into another era – ancient tribes practice time-honoured traditions and tigers still stalk the forests.

From the mysterious whales feeding in the shallow offshore waters to elephants roaming free across the plains, this series reveals a land that is worlds away from the familiar tourist trails.
